Diving and snorkeling update from Zanzibar
The waters in December for wonderfully flat in Zanzibar – perfect for snorkelling and diving. Mantas have been spotted at one of the deep dive sites in the Pemba Channel and local fisherman have been spotting loads of hammerheads whilst out fishing. Large pods of dolphins have been spotted daily.

Elephants are making a daily appearance at Mfuwe Lodge in Zambia - stomping through the reception area - to the surprise and delight of the guests. The matriarch called Wonky Tusk is back with a newborn baby.

Temperatures have cooled but hot days still occur and the evenings are still warm with dramatic night skies that illuminate with lightning. Humidity can rise after the rains. The colours are fantastic.
